THIS SATURDAY (10am) is the date for the second Garden Fete organised by St Patrick's Parish Church in Ballymoney.
The Fete coincides with the Mayor’s show but will complement it as most of the attractions are earlier in the day before the parade and will add to the atmosphere in the town.

The Auction will take place in the Parish Hall on Friday at 7pm with viewing on Thursday night at 7pm and again on Friday afternoon at 3pm.

A new attraction this year will be a chance to view some of the latest cars courtesy of local dealers.

Lots of fun for young people on Saturday will include Face Painting, a Bouncy Castle, Basketball, Wet Sponge, Tug of War, Guess the Parcel and Name the Teddy. The Pet Show will cater for a great variety of animals and birds. All of this is accompanied by a disco.

Groceries, Bric-a-brac, Books, Soft Drinks and Crisps, Ice Cream and a comprehensive Plant Stall are all on offer.

Tea and coffee will be available all day. Although the proceeds of the fete will go mostly to Church maintenance funds the Charity this year is ‘Breathe Easy.’
