Ballintoy WI members hold their April meeting

BALLINTOY WI held their April meeting recently.
The meeting was opened by Ashley who made everyone welcome. The guest speaker was Ann Watson who gave a cookery demonstration.

Sympathy was extended to Ashley and her family on their bereavement.

Competitions for the area were judged and arrangements were made for a day trip to Doagh Famine Village in Donegal on Saturday, May 31.

Competition winners were: 1st Helen McCurdy, 2nd June Whylie and 3rd Susan Taylor.

A vote of thanks was given to Kate Elliot.

This brought the meeting to a close.

Anyone who would be interested on going on the day trip can call Jean on 207 31084 to find out details.

Everyone will be made very welcome.
