BALLYMONEY lady Annie Parkhill is our New Year winner of the Bouquet of the Month thanks to members of the Beacon House Club.
Annie of Antrim Park has been helping people with mental health and other health problems for many years, despite not being in good health herself.

In a letter to the Times, Jennifer McGuickian, on behalf of the members of the Beacon Club in Ballymoney, explained: "As a member of Beacon House Club, myself and all the members would like to nominate Mrs Annie Parkhill for you Bouquet of the Month.

"She is a very good, kind caring person and has been helping people with mental health problems and other health problems over a lot of years.

"Annie's own health is not great at times but this doesn't stop her from helping others that she knows very well over a period of years.
"Thank you Annie and your family for all your help over the years."
