All sorts of word puzzles and curiosities land on my desk from time to time and I thought I'd share a couple with you.
Like, many years ago in Scotland, a new game was invented. It was ruled 'Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden'. Thus the word 'golf'
entered into the English language.
Here's another one that makes you think, bulletproof vests, fire escapes, windshield wipers and laser printers.. what do they all have in common? All were invented by women.
Now, read the following passage and see if it makes sense to you. It shouldn't really. But, yet, it does to everyone I've shown it to.
